Head of Digital Learning - Computing
Haberdashers’ Borough Academy is seeking a forward‑thinking and dynamic Head of Digital Learning – Computing , a newly created role designed to shape the Academy’s digital direction. With significant investment in digital infrastructure and extensive staff training over the last 18 months, this is an exciting opportunity for a skilled practitioner to drive whole‑school digital innovation while leading a popular and high‑achieving Computing department.
You will lead and develop our Computing curriculum from KS3 through KS5, including GCSE Computing, A Level Computing, and Creative iMedia. Alongside this, you will play a central role in embedding digital learning across the wider curriculum—supporting teachers, influencing strategy, and guiding the future of digital pedagogy at Borough Academy.
We are looking for someone who can:
Deliver and model outstanding Computing teaching across all key stages.
Lead the Computing team and develop a rich, ambitious curriculum offer.
Drive digital learning initiatives across the Academy as part of the Teaching & Learning team.
Provide digital training and professional development for staff.
Develop enrichment opportunities to help pupils build essential digital skills.
Demonstrate excellent leadership, communication and the ability to inspire others.
Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, innovation and professional growth.
This role is ideal for an ambitious colleague seeking a strategic leadership opportunity with a clear pathway towards senior leadership.
