Procurement Manager

i am currently recruiting for a not for profit business who is undergoing a significant transformation as they respond to the Procurement Act 2023 and continue to mature their approach to delivering robust, value-led procurement solutions.

They have a real ambition is to provide best-in-class procurement services that fully support the end-to-end lifecycle of contracts and deliver measurable outcomes for the organisation.

The successful candidate will take a leading role in managing complex and high-value procurement activity across a broad range of hard and soft categories, supporting an annual spend in excess of £700m. The role involves working closely with senior stakeholders to shape sourcing strategies, drive compliance, and ensure procurement delivers value, innovation and effective risk mitigation.

Key Experience Required

• Strong knowledge of the Procurement Act 2023and Public Contract Regulations 2015 (PCR)
• Experience managing complex procurement projects and programmes
• Knowledge of commercial negotiation, contract management and supplier engagement
• Ideally MCIPS qualified or working towards MCIPS

The role will also support delivery of the business's procurement forward plan, ensuring procurement activity is delivered in a robust, commercially effective manner aligned with organisational strategy.
