Finance Director EMEA
Zotefoams is a fast-growing, listed manufacturing group and a global leader in advanced cellular materials. We’re expanding rapidly across the UK, Europe, and worldwide, supplying high-performance foam technologies to industries from aviation and healthcare to construction and footwear.
As part of our growth, we’re strengthening our regional finance structure and have a new opportunity for an experienced Finance Director (EMEA) to join us. Despite the title, this is a hands-on, commercially focused regional finance leadership role – ideal for someone ready to take full ownership of EMEA performance while still being close to the numbers.
About the Role:
Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you’ll lead a team of four direct reports and partner closely with our EMEA Managing Director to drive financial insight, performance, and control across multiple entities. You’ll shape regional reporting, forecasting, and business partnering, ensuring alignment with group priorities and high standards of financial governance.
Your remit will cover:
- Leading budgeting, forecasting and month-end reporting across the EMEA region.
- Acting as a commercial partner to regional and group leadership, influencing decisions through clear analysis and insight.
- Driving improvements in working capital, cash flow, and profitability.
- Ensuring compliance, audit readiness, and robust internal controls across multiple jurisdictions.
- Developing, mentoring, and empowering a capable finance team, fostering collaboration and growth.
Role Responsibilities:
- Oversee financial planning and analysis, providing clear, actionable insights to support strategic and operational decisions.
- Lead financial reporting and ensure timely, accurate management information for group and regional review.
- Maintain governance and statutory compliance across entities in Europe.
- Support group-wide finance transformation initiatives and continuous process improvement.
- Champion collaboration between Finance, Operations, Supply Chain and Commercial teams.
What you'll need:
- Full accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
- A solid background in commercial finance or regional business partnering within manufacturing, industrial or engineering environments.
- Experience leading and developing a finance team.
- Strong analytical and modelling skills, with excellent attention to detail.
- Advanced Excel and ERP experience, with interest in process improvement and digital tools.
What were looking for?
- Commercially minded and confident influencing senior stakeholders.
- Adaptable, proactive and delivery-focused, able to balance strategy with hands-on execution.
- A clear communicator who can translate complex data into business insight.
- Collaborative, inclusive and motivated to help others succeed.
