Our client is a highly respected UK law firm with a well-established and successful Employment practice. The practice has developed organically and has strong reputation which it seeks to expand further. With market-leading corporate and private client teams, the firm is looking to appoint a dedicated Employment Partner to be based in any of its UK offices, to play a key role in the continued growth and longer-term succession of the practice.

This is a significant opportunity for an ambitious Employment Partner to develop and lead the national employment offering, supported by a strong regional office platform and a collaborative Head of Department who operates across both London and the regions.

The successful candidate will be instrumental in shaping and executing the firm’s employment strategy in London, enhancing its visibility and market presence. You will be expected to drive business development initiatives, nurture existing client relationships, and capitalise on the firm’s broad client base to secure new opportunities.

The role will provide you with the freedom to shape the practice, while benefiting from cross-selling referrals from the firm’s corporate and private client departments. In addition, you will play a leadership role in mentoring and developing junior team members, contributing to the overall strength and cohesion of the practice.

The firm will consider either:

• An established Employment Partner seeking a fresh platform to grow their practice, or
• A senior associate with a strong business case for partnership, eager to take the next step in their career.

This role is suited to individuals with proven expertise across a broad range of employment law matters, strong technical skills, and a demonstrable track record of client development.
