Private Client Solicitor

Who we’re looking for

• 8+ PQE as a Solicitor or Legal Executive
• Experience managing your own caseload of wills, probate, LPAs, and trusts
• Strong track record in business development
• Leadership skills with experience supervising or mentoring junior lawyers
• Technically confident
• Down-to-earth, approachable, and commercially minded
• Previous exposure to Court of Protection work (desirable, not essential)

What you’ll be doing

• Initially focusing on building a personal caseload through BD and internal cross-referrals
• Advising on probate (approx. 60%) and wills/LPAs (approx. 40%)
• Collaborating with others in the team and building out the department
• Driving revenue growth and ultimately progressing into Head of Department or Partner
• Making use of firm-wide BD training and support to grow the client base

Salary & Benefits

• Highly competitive salary
• Bonus: Approx. 10% of billings over target
• Holiday: 25 days + bank holidays

• Hybrid working: 2 days WFH per week once settled (office-based for first month)
