Contracts Coordinator
Hasbro European Services provides various services to Hasbro business units in Europe and the Middle East and Africa.
Contracts Administrator – Licensed Consumer Products
Location: Capper Street, London, UK. Hasbro operates a Hybrid working pattern of Tuesdays – Thursdays in the office, with Flexibility on Mondays and Fridays. Please only apply if you meet the requirements of the role, and the working pattern is suitable for you, and you are located within a reasonable commuting distance from the Capper Street, London office.
Please note: This position is best suited for individuals who are passionate about contracts management, coordination, and building strong stakeholder relationships. While you will work closely with legal and commercial teams, this role is designed for those who take pride in the operational and administrative aspects of contract management, rather than as a pathway into a legal or paralegal career. We are looking for someone eager to contribute and grow within our contracts team, bringing dedication and enthusiasm to the role.
About the role:
Ready to bring some magic to the world of toys? We’re looking for a Contracts Administrator to join our vibrant Licensed Consumer Products (LCP) Business and Legal Affairs Team. This isn’t just any role – it’s your chance to help power the fun behind some of the world’s most iconic brands like Peppa Pig, Dungeons & Dragons, Play-Doh, Monopoly, and more!
Think of yourself as the guardian of play: you’ll manage the entire contract lifecycle, from deal proposals to drafting agreements, amendments, and renewals. You’ll work hand-in-hand with our commercial teams and global partners to ensure everything runs smoothly. If you love detail, thrive on collaboration, and want to be part of a team that turns imagination into reality, this role is for you.
What you’ll do:
- Draft, review, and coordinate the execution of licensing contracts, including wet signature contracts and filing.
- Act as the primary point of contact for contractual matters, ensuring timely approvals and reconciliation of variations.
- Amend standard terms and conditions in line with IP (intellectual property) updates and prepare replacement clauses for legal review.
- Maintain accurate contractual records, including NDAs, insurance certificates, and correspondence.
- Provide guidance and training on contract practices/procedures to category managers and operational teams.
- Support the development and implementation of best-in-class contract management procedures.
- Monitor processes and suggest improvements to ensure everything is running smoothly.
- Ensure revenue recognition and risk requirements are met—because numbers matter too!
- Communicate signed agreements to stakeholders so everyone’s in the loop.
- Manage renewals, extensions, and close-outs, including termination and debt recovery letters.
- Liaise with offices worldwide to track and update work-in-progress contracts.
What you'll bring:
- Previous experience in contracts coordination and administration, ideally from working with either finance, legal, or HR teams, where compliance and due diligence are a must.
- Clear, confident, and engaging communication skills, whether in writing or conversation.
- Spot challenges and the ability to turn them into opportunities.
- Be detail-obsessed - accuracy is your middle name.
- Be able to juggle multiple tasks without dropping the ball.
- Deliver stellar customer service to internal and external partners.
- Demonstrate ability to work in a close team and support others when needed.
- Curiosity and adaptability, with a willingness to learn and innovate.
- Licensing expertise – some experience with licensing or IP management is a significant advantage, but not essential.
Top behaviours for success:
- Positive attitude and accountability.
- Proactive, with strong initiative.
- Skilled relationship builder and networker.
- Open to feedback and continuous improvement.
- Approachable and supportive team player.
Why join us?
This role is the perfect mix of responsibility and creativity, giving you the chance to shape processes while working with some of the world’s most iconic brands. You’ll thrive in a collaborative culture that values teamwork and innovation, with hybrid working arrangements to keep the balance just right.
To Play to Win, you will be a champion of our Leadership Principles:
- Knowing is Half the Battle
- Break the Mold
- Take Charge
- Be Legendary
- Friendship is Magic
- The Matrix of Leadership
