iO Associates has partnered with a global leader in digital consulting and is seeking an experienced SFI Insurance Technical Lead to drive end-to-end Salesforce Industries (Vlocity) delivery within the Insurance sector. You will lead technical design, oversee build quality, guide cross-functional teams, and act as the subject matter expert across complex SFI Insurance Cloud programmes.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead technical design and delivery across the full SFI Insurance lifecycle: Product Admin, Quoting, Policy Admin, FNOL, Claims, Contract & Enrolment, Calculation Matrices.

Hands-on configuration and development using OmniStudio (DataRaptors, FlexCards, OmniScripts, Integration Procedures) and the Ratings Engine.

Oversee multiple technical workstreams, ensuring engineering best practices and high-quality deliverables.

Run technical workshops, support requirement refinement, and translate business needs into scalable SFI architectures.

Mentor onshore/offshore developers and provide guidance on solution design, performance, and system optimisation.

Make sound architectural decisions aligned with platform capabilities, limitations, and delivery timelines.

Contribute to Agile delivery cycles, including build, testing, deployments, and documentation.

Support presales activity and internal knowledge-sharing initiatives.

Requirements:

Strong Salesforce Industries (Vlocity/SFI) experience within the Insurance sector (Must Have)

7+ years Salesforce/SFI experience with at least 2 years in a Technical Lead role.

Hands-on Salesforce development (Apex, APIs, LWC, Triggers).

Proven delivery of SFI Insurance Cloud implementations across quoting, policy, claims, and rating.

Strong hands-on OmniStudio expertise: DataRaptors, FlexCards, OmniScripts, Integration Procedures, Rating Engine.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to challenge and guide stakeholders.

Experience leading Agile delivery teams across multiple concurrent projects.

Certifications preferred:

SFI Insurance Cloud

SFI Platform Developer / Consultant

SFI CPQ or Salesforce CPQ / Apttus CPQ

Salesforce Admin / Developer / Architect certifications
