Nursery Room Leader
Job Description
We are looking for a passionate Early Years Room Leader to join the team at our Rosewood Montessori Day\nNursery & Pre School where we have recently increased our salaries to reflect the important of our early years professionals.
- 16\n Myrtle Avenue, Eastcote, HA4 8RZ
- 40\n hours per week
- Salary - £30,929.60 per annum
- Level\n 3 Childcare Qualification is essential
The Rosewood Montessori Day Nursery & Forest School\nis situated on a peaceful, residential street, conveniently\nlocated between Ruislip Manor and Eastcote Train Stations. With convenient\non-street parking available directly outside, our nursery is easily accessible\nfor both staff and parents.

As a Room Leader with Family first you will\nbe responsible for:
- Create\n engaging, age-appropriate learning environments and experiences.
- Support\n children’s physical, emotional, social, and intellectual development.
- Help\n staff maintain high-quality learning journals via EyLog.
- Lead\n by example with fairness and consistency.
- Strengthen\n the key person approach and identify staff training needs.
- Keep\n accurate records using EyMan and other systems.
- Ensure\n the safety and wellbeing of children, staff, and visitors.
- Comply\n with EYFS statutory requirements.
As a Room Leader, you will need:
- Full\n and relevant Level 3 in Childcare qualification – Essential.
- Over\n 1 years’ experience working in Early Years – Essential.
- Over\n 6 months’ experience working in a senior position – Desirable.
- Sound\n knowledge of Ofsted expectations to achieve a Good or Outstanding rating –\n Desirable.
- Knowledge\n of the statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements –\n Essential.
- Fluent\n in written and spoken English – Essential
