Year 6 Teaching Role in an Academy Primary School

An academy primary school in Havering is seeking to appoint a Year 6 Teacher to join its Key Stage 2 team from September. This is a full-time role within a school that is committed to high academic standards, pupil development, and strong end-of-key-stage outcomes.

About the Role

You will take responsibility for a Year 6 class, delivering the full primary curriculum with a particular focus on English and Mathematics.

You will support pupils in developing confidence, independence, and resilience while preparing for SATs assessments and transition to secondary school.

The role includes planning engaging lessons, tracking pupil progress, and delivering targeted intervention to support attainment across the class.

You will work collaboratively with colleagues across Key Stage 2 to ensure consistency in teaching and curriculum delivery.

Key Responsibilities
