Master of Defence Against the Dark Arts
Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry is seeking a highly qualified witch or wizard to fill the position of Master of Defence Against the Dark Arts . The role involves instructing students in both theoretical and practical methods of resisting dark magic, curses, enchanted artefacts, and dark creatures.
Responsibilities:
- Delivering structured lessons on defensive spells, counter-curses, and anti-dark magic techniques
- Training students in duelling, tactical awareness, and magical survival
- Preparing students for real-world magical threats
- Ensuring safety during practical work involving dangerous magic
Requirements
- Extensive knowledge of dark magic and proven methods of defence against it
- Documented field experience (Auror Service, Order of the Phoenix, or equivalent preferred)
- Ability to remain composed under pressure
- Strong instructional skills with a clear, disciplined teaching approach
