We have a brand-new opportunity to join our Finance team at Royal London Asset Management as our Finance Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing Financial Planning and Analysis team who are continuously looking to elevate the reporting and information provided to the business
As Finance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality management information that drives strategic decision-making. You’ll provide insightful analysis at entity level, consolidating business area reporting to enhance understanding of financial performance and profitability. This role involves overseeing monthly P&L production, identifying key drivers behind variances, and supporting forecasting and annual business planning. You’ll continuously evolve management information to meet changing business needs, leveraging tools such as Anaplan and Power BI to improve efficiency and impact.
About the role
• Deliver monthly MI (Management Information) packs to the Exco and RLAM Boards.
• Enhance and adapt MI to meet evolving business requirements.
• Ensure P&L variances to Plan, Forecast and prior periods are fully understood, including insight to underlying business drivers.
• Production of Business Plan and Forecast analysis and supporting commentary for Exco.
• Identify risks and controls in all areas of responsibility.
About you
• A solid FP&A background within the Asset Management sector, with a clear understanding of industry practices and regulatory environment.
• In-house experience with practical application of financial planning and analysis.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills.
• Ability to work to tight deadlines, taking ownership and responsibility
• Tenacious and ‘can do’ attitude
• Willingness to challenge and contribute to change
• Thorough approach and attention to detail
• Manage relationships effectively with senior internal and external stakeholders
• Proficiency in Anaplan and PowerBI beneficial
• Qualified accountant ( ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
