Procurement coordinator

Hours: 37.5 About this Role: We are looking for a Procurement coordinator to form part of an expanding Procurement function where it is required to ensure efficient sourcing and onboarding of suppliers, maintaining compliance with health and safety standards, and managing documentation for all procurement activities. This role will report into the Procurement Manager.
Main Duties and Objectives:
- Keep accurate records within our internal databases of supplier information and documentation
- Manage the procurement inbox (when one is created) to answer related questions and escalate where required
- Oversee the contractor documentation process, ensuring these are kept up to date
- Coordinate the onboarding process for new suppliers and contractors, ensuring all required documentation is collected (insurance certificates, accreditations, risk assessments, health & safety compliance)
- Maintain the central database(s) of approved suppliers with up-to-date compliance records
- Verify supplier credentials relevant to property services (e.g., electrical safety, asbestos awareness, working at height, legionella control)
- Support and own the tender process for business wide framework agreements
- Supports the management of supplier relationships and contracts
- Regularly engage wider business stakeholders to understand their issues or concerns, providing feedback to wider procurement team and seeks to improve current practise
- Assist in identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or compliance
- Understanding of property management

- CIPS qualified, currently studying or willing to obtain
