A highly academic secondary school in Waltham Forest is recruiting a dedicated and experienced History Teacher with expertise in British and European modern history from January 2026.
- History Teacher required from January 2026

You will teach History across KS3-KS5, with a significant timetable commitment to A-Level. The role requires depth of subject knowledge and the ability to prepare students for top university applications, focusing on rigorous source analysis and extended essay writing.
Experience and Qualifications
- Qualified Teacher Status ( QTS ) and a degree in History (MA/PhD highly desirable).
- Proven ability to secure high grades at A-Level History.
- Experience in curriculum development for a selective or highly academic context.
- Willingness to mentor students through the EPQ (Extended Project Qualification).
