Business Assistant

SUEZ are looking for a proactive and detail‑focused individual to provide vital administrative, reporting and operational support across our West London sites. This role plays a key part in driving efficiency, ensuring compliance and maintaining strong relationships with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
About The role
Salary: £28,111 - £30,644 (dependant on experience)
Benefits: 3% annual bonus, 3x life assurance policy, 20 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays
Location: South Ruislip, Office based
Hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week, Mon-Fir
What will I be doing?
- Provide administrative support across West London operational sites, including weighbridge systems, data handling, verification checks, and preparing contract and Board reports and presentations.
- Coordinate and distribute key reports and data, such as KPIs, health & safety, environmental, financial performance, and monthly operational/contract submissions.
- Liaise with the West London Management Team, resolving queries and supporting liaison group and contract review meetings to ensure a professional image with internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage projects and tasks for the Regional team that drive business efficiency, while ensuring compliance with internal and external standards and maintaining strong relationships with central teams.
- Support health, safety, and environmental compliance, including monthly tracking of H&S, EA, CARS, and accidents, while utilising the wider Regional team to develop capability and contribute to business targets.
What are the requirements?
- You must be able to demonstrate that you are capable of working to deadlines. Working as part of a large team, you must have strong communication skills and the ability to liaise with other teams within SUEZ.
- Experience of working with customers to understand their needs and deliver on these needs is essential.
- Excellent IT skills Word, Excel, Powerpoint, internet, lotus notes, or the ability to learn
- A track record of the waste industry is desirable but not essential.
- You will be required to have excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of applications.
