Health and Safety Advisor
Overview:
Our Health and Safety Advisor will be responsible for maintaining the high levels of Health & Safety, Quality and Compliance across our Compco premises and sites.
Are you looking for your next Health and Safety Advisor role? With exceptional attention to detail, you, as a Health and Safety Advisor, will act as a central function of the SHEQ team at Compco Fire Systems. Together, we can redefine what’s possible for the future of the Fire Protection Industry.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Carrying out regular inspections on construction sites.
- Monitoring Sprinkler installation process from start to finish.
- Testing/reporting on quality of work.
- Ensuring measurements and material usage follow initial plans.
- Liaising closely with SHE Manager and construction project managers.
- Checking for any defects/H&S breaches.
- Providing reports of inspections and suggesting improvements.
- Making sure installations codes and safety issues are adhered to.
- Marking up drawings detailing site changes.
What You’ll Need:
- Proven Experience in a Health and Safety Advisor Role or Similar.
- Understanding of Sprinkler installation codes and safety issues is preferred, although full training will be given.
- Excellent knowledge of construction industry.
- A Qualification in Health and Safety would be advantageous.
- Strong Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Exceptional Attention to Detail.
- Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills.
- Ability to Work in a Fast-Paced Environment.
- Valid CSCS card.
- Full UK driving license.
This role would require the successful Health and Safety Advisor to be within commutable distance to our sites across the Southeast region of the UK.
