Location: London (hybrid)
Salary: Up to 95,000


The Role
The Associate Director will hold overall responsibility for all aspects of the organisation's activities, working closely with fellow Directors and shareholders. The position carries a broad leadership remit, combining strategic oversight with technical and commercial excellence.
Key responsibilities include:


Establishing and maintaining the organisation's vision, mission, and values
Defining and evolving the company's structure, strategy, and risk profile
Managing, monitoring, and evaluating the implementation of policies, strategies, and operational plans
Providing senior leadership across technical delivery, people management, and business performance
Acting as a key interface with shareholders, clients, and other stakeholders
Supporting the ongoing development and mentoring of senior engineers and future leaders


Projects:
My client delivers complex, high-quality building services solutions across a diverse portfolio. Projects typically span:
Commercial and mixed-use developments
Cultural, education, and public-sector buildings
High-end residential schemes
Architecturally ambitious and technically challenging projects requiring close collaboration with design teams


The Associate Director will play a pivotal role in shaping project strategy, overseeing delivery at the highest level, and ensuring that technical innovation and quality remain central to every commission.


About You:
Applicants should be able to demonstrate:
A minimum of 10 years' post-Chartership experience leading and managing a building services team, office, or similar business
Proven capability in senior technical leadership, people management, and strategic decision-making
An Engineering Level 7 qualification (MEng or equivalent)
Chartered Engineer status (or equivalent)
Strong commercial awareness and the confidence to engage at Board and shareholder level
Clear ambition to progress into a top-tier leadership role within a growing consultancy
