Turnaround Manager
About the role
Join HC-One as a Turnaround Manager – Lead with Kindness and Impact
As a Turnaround Manager, your kindness and leadership will shape every aspect of your work across our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. You will take responsibility for improving underperforming homes, including those without a current Home Manager, ensuring that residents continue to receive safe, compassionate, and high-quality care. Your focus will be on embedding a clear vision and values within each home, supporting teams to understand targets, meet regulatory requirements, and address specific areas for improvement. Resident wellbeing will always remain your top priority. This role may require national travel depending on business needs.
What you’ll do:
- Lead the improvement of homes, setting clear expectations, targets, and values for teams.
- Support and guide staff in homes without managers, promoting consistency, accountability, and high standards of care.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, quality, and governance requirements, taking timely action to address gaps.
- Mentor and develop staff, fostering a culture of kindness, respect, and professional accountability.
- Work collaboratively across the business to share best practice and drive sustainable improvements.
You will be a Registered Nurse with a valid PIN, holding either a Registered Managers Award Level 4 or Leadership in Management in Care Level 4 or 5, with proven leadership experience in care homes for vulnerable adults. Beyond qualifications, your ability to lead with respect, kindness, and accountability is paramount. You communicate thoughtfully with residents, colleagues, and stakeholders, inspiring confidence and positive change wherever you go.
