Forward Deployed AI Developer - Senior Associate

Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and passionate Forward Deployed AI Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in applied artificial intelligence, agent development and software engineering. You will work as part of a team that designs, develops and implements AI agents and automation tools that drive innovation and change the way our business works.
Key Responsibilities
- Help with the design of, and develop, AI agents and automation tools to solve complex problems and improve business processes.
- Be part of a team that collaborates with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Build and orchestrate LLM agents, including prompt design, grounding and retrieval, and structured outputs.
- Test and evaluate agent behaviour, including handling uncertainty and non-deterministic outputs.
- Build and configure solutions across the Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages and Dataverse, together with solution management, environments and application lifecycle management.
- Integrate AI tools with enterprise systems through APIs, including Graph, REST, SQL, SharePoint and dedicated business systems.
- Develop cloud native skills on platforms such as Azure and AWS, and understand the AI offerings within them.
- Work on projects through the full delivery lifecycle, supporting the design, through development and build, testing, and into production.
- Support live products and triage defects with real users.
- Work within enterprise guardrails, including AI risk assessment, information security review, data loss prevention, environments and licensing.
- Conduct data analysis and preparation to support the development and evaluation of AI solutions.
- Stay up to date with the latest advancements in AI and apply them to projects.
- Document code, processes and methodologies to ensure maintainability and knowledge sharing within the team.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an AI developer or in a similar role, with a portfolio of projects.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and TypeScript.
- Working knowledge of Git and version control.
- Good understanding of algorithms, data structures, and software design principles.
- Familiarity with data manipulation and analysis tools such as Pandas, NumPy, and SQL.
- Experience with, or a strong willingness to develop skills in, the Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages and Dataverse.
- Basic understanding of cloud computing and of SaaS, PaaS and IaaS.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms and their AI services.
- Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Copilot Studio, or another agent orchestration platform.
- Experience of taking a product through enterprise governance, such as AI risk assessment, information security review and data loss prevention.
- Front end, user experience or product design exposure that signals an awareness of user considerations.
- Knowledge of containerisation technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
