Tenancy Enforcement Officer
Location: East London
Rate: £33.91 per hour Umbrella
Contract: 12 months, ongoing
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm
Working Arrangement: Full-time on-site during probation, with hybrid working available following successful completion of probation We are seeking an experienced Tenancy Enforcement Officer to join a dedicated team working on a high-profile programme focused on improving the management and use of temporary accommodation.
The successful candidate will be responsible for investigating suspected non-occupation, subletting, housing fraud and other misuse of temporary accommodation. You will carry out inspections, gather and assess evidence, work with partner agencies and pursue cases through to resolution. Key Responsibilities
- Investigate suspected tenancy breaches, non-occupation, subletting and housing fraud.
- Conduct property inspections and gather evidence.
- Assess information and determine appropriate enforcement action.
- Manage complex cases through to resolution.
- Work closely with internal teams and external partner agencies.
- Where appropriate, pursue formal enforcement and legal remedies.
- Deal confidently and professionally with challenging situations.
