About the Role This full-time, permanent role supports a high-achieving Science faculty with a particular focus on advanced-level practicals for A-Level and university preparation. You will be responsible for preparing precise chemical solutions and setting up complex physics and biology apparatus. The role requires a candidate with strong technical knowledge and the ability to work with precision in a high-stakes academic environment.

Responsibilities
Prepare precise molar solutions and microbiological media for senior-level practical experiments.
Maintain the chemical inventory and ensure the safe disposal of hazardous waste in accordance with current legislation.
Set up laboratory equipment daily across multiple venues, ensuring all safety checks are completed before students arrive.
Assist in the maintenance of high-value scientific equipment, coordinating manufacturer inspections and repairs.
Requirements
Previous experience as a technician or experience working within a classroom setting.
Right to work in the UK and a valid enhanced DBS.
Salary £30,000 – £34,500 per annum.
