Our Client: World famous international consumer electronics company headquartered in Japan, specializing in manufacturing and supply of OEM as well as own branded products for retail markets in US, Japan and Europe. We are seeking to recruit a Marketing & Data Analysis Specialist to participate in our newly established UK printer and ink supplies operations. This position will report directly to the European Business Unit Director. This individual will support our world wide project team developing and implementing strategies driving revenue with local marketing skills and extensive market data analysis. Objective: The primary objective of this position will be to provide the inside view to the market, which will allow the team to create the base for development and implementation of strategies directed at improving sales revenue, maintaining and expanding customer base and gaining the required market share. This will require the ability to gather and analyze data as well as propose and execute the appropriate local marketing activities for the Office Supply business. The successful applicant will also be required in creation and maintenance of the framework within which the European organization can execute its tasks in a safe and profitable manner. Duties: •Assembles market reports by compiling, consolidating, formatting, and summarizing information, graphs, and presentations. •Updates competitor database by inputting data from the field. •Supports sales presentations by assembling quotations, proposals, videos, slide shows, demonstration and product capability booklets; compiling account and competitor analyses. •Prepares local marketing materials by formatting content and graphics; arranging printing of POS material and internet packages. •Cooperates with customers on the execution of their marketing materials - including web store fronts, in-store leaflets, company catalogues - ensuring the consistency with company’s marketing strategy •Provides marketing tracking and research information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends •In cooperation with local sales management creates and proposes pricing strategy ensuring the maximum output of the key performance indicators •Accomplishes marketing and organization mission by completing related results as needed •Cooperates with customers and sales on articulation of in-store activity •Implements and monitors in-store merchandizing program executions •Supports product managers with the localization of the packaging, printer matter and features of the product Essential Criteria The successful candidate should possess the following required degrees, certificates or competencies: ·Exceptional track record in marketing and data analysis ·Minimum 2~3 years of experience in the field, trade marketing experience a plus ·Bachelors degree in related field, ·Extensive experience within Office Supply market ·In depth knowledge of retail market in UK ·Experience in budget management and providing financial analysis of marketing activities ·Team player who believes in team success ·High administrative abilities; good with procedures, processes, and best practices ·Outstanding written and oral communication skills, accurate and detail oriented, with strong organizational and time management skills ·Ability to manage multiple projects and work in a fast pace environment ·Strong analytic and marketing capabilities, identify opportunities and build upon them ·Must be comfortable communicating with wide range of individuals such as executives and business analysts ·High emotional intelligence and professionalism. Ability to build rapport directly with senior executives and business leaders. ·Strong Computer aptitude and proficiency, including expert Excel skills. Proficiency in other Microsoft Office applications is a must – Word, PowerPoint.
