The Role
We’re looking for a relationship-driven and highly proactive Talent Acquisition Manager to help us build and nurture a world-class pipeline of creative and strategic talent.
This role centres on headhunting, market mapping, and networking — ensuring we’re consistently connected with the strongest talent in the industry and that every candidate interaction positively reflects our brand.
Alongside building this pipeline, you’ll also play a key role in recruiting and managing our graduate and early-career programmes, supporting our commitment to social mobility and creating accessible routes into the creative industry.
Role & Responsibilities
Talent Pipeline & Headhunting
Proactively headhunt and engage top talent across design, strategy, client services, account management and operations.
Build and maintain a deep talent pipeline for current and future roles, keeping warm connections active.
Network widely — through events, communities, referrals and your existing contacts — to ensure we stay plugged into the best talent in the industry.
Conduct first stage interviews, reviewing and recommending candidates that reflect our culture, values and creative standards.
Map the talent landscape across competitor agencies, emerging sectors and new skillsets.
Represent the company as a brand ambassador in all candidate interactions.
Candidate Experience & Brand Representation
Ensure a seamless, positive experience for every candidate — from first outreach to offer. Further enhancing our external YS brand.
Communicate our values, culture and creative approach with clarity and enthusiasm.
Support employer brand initiatives, including creating content, attending events and supporting partnerships.
Graduate Schemes, Early-Career & Social Mobility
Support the recruitment, planning and ongoing management of graduate and early-career talent programmes.
Build partnerships with universities, creative networks, youth organisations and social mobility charities.
Help design candidate assessments, workshops, and development opportunities for early-career cohorts.
Track progress of participants, ensuring they are supported and learning throughout the programme.
Talent Operations & Coordination
Drafts job descriptions for review and finalisation by hiring manager
Preps interview questioning lines for consistency across interview experience
Maintain accurate candidate records and pipelines within our ATS/HRIS.
Conduct first-stage interviews and shortlist for all roles.
Aids collation of interview feedback and scoring
Helps manage in-company communication through the hiring process
Coordinate interview scheduling and candidate communications where needed.
Provide insights and reporting on talent trends, pipeline strength and market movements.
Promotes fair and inclusive hiring practices
Helps maintain contractor base and contracts/comms with in-role contract employees
Works with Central Ops and Resource to understand and future plan role/skill needs
Helps plan and prep onboarding docs, alongside the Head of People
You
Proven experience in recruitment, talent sourcing or headhunting — ideally in a creative, design or agency environment.
Exceptional relationship-building skills and a strong industry network (or the ability to develop one quickly).
Able to juggle long-term pipelines with live hiring needs
Confident, warm communicator who can engage talent at all levels.
Highly organised with strong follow-through and attention to detail.
Passionate about championing a positive candidate experience and representing an employer brand.
Enthusiasm for supporting early-career talent and social mobility pathways.
Understanding of DEI principles in relation to recruitment and access to the creative industry.
Passionate about developing accessible and inclusive talent pathways
