Attendance Officer

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Attendance Officer at our secondary, co-educational 11-18 school located on Southwark Bridge Road, on the former site of Southwark Fire Station.

The Attendance Officer plays a vital role in promoting and supporting high levels of student attendance and punctuality. This position involves monitoring attendance data, identifying patterns of concern, and implementing targeted interventions to improve engagement. The role requires close collaboration with students, families, and external agencies to address barriers to attendance, while maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements. It demands a proactive, empathetic, and organised individual who can balance administrative precision with pastoral care.
