Contract: Interim (minimum 4 months, with potential extension)

Day Rate: £700–£750 per day
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic leader to join a well-established housing association as Interim Assistant Director for Assets. This is a critical role overseeing major works and asset management for a large housing portfolio.
About the Assistant Director of Assets role:
- Provide effective leadership and management to a multi-disciplinary team.
- Oversee delivery of major works programmes, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to high standards.
- Manage capital investment budgets and ensure accurate forecasting.
- Lead stock condition survey activities and ensure robust data validation.
- Drive procurement processes for major works contracts.
Your previous experience as a Assistant Director:
- Proven experience in asset management and major works at a senior level.
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing and motivating teams.
- Expertise in using asset data to inform investment programmes.
- Experience in developing scopes of work and specifications for procurement.
- Professional qualification (MRICS or CIOB) preferred.
- Collaborative and results-driven approach.
