Trainee Cover Supervisors Wanted
Trainee Cover Supervisors – South London Pay: £100 – £120 per day (dependent on experience and school) Location: South London Contract Type: Flexible / Full-time / Part-time Start Date: Ongoing Smart Teachers is currently recruiting enthusiastic and confident individuals to work as Trainee Cover Supervisors with our partner secondary schools across South London. This is a fantastic opportunity for those looking to gain classroom experience, whether you’re a recent graduate, considering a career in teaching, or have experience working with young people in other settings (e.g. tutoring, coaching, youth work). About the Role: Supervise classes during teacher absences across various subjects Deliver pre-prepared lessons and ensure pupils remain on task Support the school’s behaviour and safeguarding policies Gain valuable classroom management experience You will need to have: A confident and professional approach to managing students Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Flexibility and willingness to travel within South London A valid DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one) Previous classroom experience is beneficial but not essential – full training and support will be provided.
