Construction Lawyer - Major ProjectsLocation: Central London OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Construction Lawyer to support a major construction projects based in London.The role will involve close collaboration with project teams, risk management professionals, and senior stakeholders to manage legal and contractual risk throughout the project lifecycle. Key ResponsibilitiesDrafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of construction and project documentationAdvising project teams on potential legal and contractual risksSupporting compliance with insurance and regulatory requirementsWorking closely with risk management companies to align legal and risk mitigation strategiesProviding practical legal advice on contractual law, dispute avoidance, and project governanceSupporting internal stakeholders on risk management practices related to major construction worksEnsuring adherence to relevant insurance regulations and contractual obligations Key RequirementsQualified lawyer with strong construction law experienceProven experience working on major construction projectsStrong background in contractual law and legal risk managementExperience advising operational and project delivery teamsFamiliarity with insurance regulations within the construction sectorExperience working alongside risk management companiesPrior in-house or secondment experience highly desirableAble to work office-based in London Desirable ExperienceExperience gained in both private practice and in-house environmentsExposure to large-scale infrastructure or complex construction programmesWe are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity in our company.
