The Role:

  • Screen candidates and support the recruitment process to ensure we find the best fit for each role.
  • Collaborate with the team to learn the essentials of recruitment and develop your skills in candidate evaluation.
  • Work flexibly on a zero-hour contract, making it easy to fit this role around your other commitments.

The Responsibilities:

  • Screen Candidates: Review applications, conduct initial candidate checks, and ensure only the best-fit talent progresses through the recruitment process.
  • Support Recruitment Operations: Assist the team with day-to-day administrative tasks, helping to keep candidate records accurate and up to date.
  • Collaborate and Learn: Work closely with experienced recruiters to understand the essentials of talent assessment, gaining hands-on exposure to recruitment best practices.
  • Flexible Work: Operate on a zero-hour contract, allowing for flexibility to balance other commitments while contributing effectively to the team.

The Person

  • Enthusiasm and Drive: A positive, proactive attitude and a genuine interest in recruitment and the fitness industry.
  • Basic Technical Skills: Comfortable using email, spreadsheets, and online tools, with a willingness to learn new systems and processes.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to engage professionally with candidates and colleagues.
  • Willingness to Learn: No prior recruitment experience is required—this role is designed for those eager to develop their skills and grow within the industry.
  • Ambition and Initiative: Self-motivated, with a “get-up-and-go” attitude, looking for opportunities to improve processes and make a meaningful impact.
