A welcoming and well-organised 3-form entry primary school in Lambeth is seeking a passionate Primary Teacher (0.6) to join their Year 2 team. This part-time role (three days per week) is available for an immediate start and offers a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated teacher who values collaboration, creativity, and balance.
The successful Primary Teacher will work alongside two other experienced Year 2 teachers who plan and share resources to ensure consistency and support across the year group. The school has a warm and inclusive ethos, a strong leadership team, and pupils who are eager to learn.
Key ResponsibilitiesPlan and deliver engaging and well-structured lessons in Year 2 .
Track and assess pupil progress to ensure strong academic outcomes.
Collaborate with year group colleagues to plan high-quality learning experiences.
Create a supportive and stimulating classroom environment.
Contribute positively to the wider school community and enrichment activities.
Qualified Teacher Status ( QTS ) - essential.
Experience teaching within Key Stage 1 , ideally Year 2 .
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
A collaborative and reflective approach to teaching.
Passionate about inspiring young learners and helping them achieve their potential.
