Capital Market Products Lead - Retail Wealth

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Capital Markets Product Lead – Retail Wealth.
In this role you will report to the Global Head of Fixed Income for Wealth & Premier Solutions (WPS), playing a crucial role in supporting the Retail Wealth business strategy. You will focus on delivering a leading Capital Market Products proposition, including Fixed Income (FI), Structured Products (SP), and Equities (EQ), for Retail Wealth markets on a global scale and will form a key part of the Wealth value streams. By adopting a needs-based customer-oriented products and solutions mindset for Premier/Mass Retail proposition, you will support a sustainable global competitive advantage for International Wealth & Premier Banking (IWPB) and contribute to the revenue generation for the WPS business.

In this role you will:
- Contribute to the commercial success of the Retail Wealth business, with a focus on driving KPIs against AOP such as revenue, NNM, invested assets, client growth, NIM and product penetration.
- Continuously monitor product-shelf ensuring that WPS has sufficient product depth to support sustainable global competitive advantage for Retail Wealth globally.
- Work closely with senior business stakeholders and support leadership across Group, regions, and countries as well as key internal partners on actionable outcomes to drive results. Using a global perspective to bring solutions to local markets to promote success of the overall Wealth franchise.
- Promote innovation and provide leadership in product development, including defining specifications for product and solution platforms, co-designing FI/SP/EQ solutions with key internal and external partners, evaluating emerging trends in customer preferences, developing the product offering to stay ahead of those trends and responsible for sponsoring sufficient global funding to support initiatives.
- Sponsor key product and service initiatives for the Global Product Committee’s approval and drive the process for producing and presenting required inputs to the Committee.
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
- Extensive experience in the financial/banking sector with an emphasis on Wealth Management products including expert knowledge of Retail Wealth offerings - essential
- Proven track record of successful full product lifecycle management including development, governance, launch and continuous improvement of products - essential
- Demonstrable working knowledge of specific products such as Fixed Income, Structured Products and Equities - desirable
- Experience of working cross-border in a global/multi-country capacity - essential
- Excellent communication skills at all levels and the ability to influence various functions and senior stakeholders - essential
