Looking for a flexible and impactful physiotherapy role in the NHS?
We are seeking an experienced Outpatient Band 6 MSK Physiotherapist to work at Chelsea and Westminster hospital. Our service receives referrals from our Hospital Consultants in T&O, Rheumatology and Pain. The highest number of referrals are from T&O and therefore the role requires experience of treating patients post fracture and post op including ACL reconstruction, joint arthroplasty, foot and ankle and upper limb surgery. Experience should include management of acute phase as well as rehab in the outpatient setting.
You will have weekly supervision with a band 7 Physiotherapist and will be part of a supportive team with a focus on delivering excellent care.
Essential Criteria:
- The ability to clinically reason the application of appropriate assessment and treatment techniques.
- Understanding of the professional and legal responsibilities of clinical practice within an MSK outpatient physiotherapy department.
- Awareness and sensitivity to cultural differences and beliefs.
- Able to work autonomously and manage large caseloads
- Excellent communication skills with patients, relatives, staff and external contacts, including in challenging situations, demonstrating respect and kindness.
Essential Qualifications:
We are looking for a Physiotherapist (MSK) with:
- Physiotherapy degree (BSc) or diploma.
- HCPC Registration.
- Proven experience in outpatient MSK
- At least 6 months recent NHS experience within the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass an enhanced background check.
