Premises Officer - Southwark
A Southwark primary school is looking for a practical and dependable Premises Officer to keep the site safe, clean and operational from January 2026. The Premises Officer will attend pre-start planning before January 2026, complete induction in January 2026, and begin site duties in January 2026 as the Premises Officer.

• Role: Premises Officer - Site security, cleaning oversight and minor repairs.
• Location: Southwark - Start date: January 2026.
• Hours: Full-Time - School hours with occasional flexibility for events.
Premises Officer Responsibilities
• Open/close site and perform daily safety checks as the Premises Officer.
• Carry out routine maintenance and co-ordinate external contractors as the Premises Officer.
• Support lettings, manage supplies and update maintenance logs as the Premises Officer.
• Participate in H&S audits and training sessions scheduled from January 2026 as the Premises Officer.
Premises Officer Requirements
• Previous experience in a premises or facilities role as the Premises Officer.
• Basic maintenance skills, DBS and an understanding of health & safety for the Premises Officer.
• Availability for pre-start meetings prior to January 2026, induction in January 2026, and to start from January 2026.
