Financial Accountant
Financial Accountant duties include;
- Support month-end and year-end close, including accruals, prepayments, and fixed asset accounting
- Take ownership of key financial accounting areas including intercompany, leases, and intangible assets
- Prepare and maintain balance sheet, bank, and income statement reconciliations, resolving discrepancies
- Review and approve invoice coding, supplier payments, and employee expenses
- Produce VAT returns and other regulatory submissions including payroll-related filings
- Support technical accounting processes, including IFRS17 reporting
- Assist in responding to internal and external stakeholder queries
- Drive continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to streamline and automate processes
- Contribute to enhancing financial controls and documentation across the team
