A welcoming Greenwich primary school is seeking a compassionate and skilled Learning Support Assistant to join their team. This role involves supporting a Year 3 student with ASD , working both within the mainstream classroom and the school's dedicated ASD unit.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant who is committed to helping children with additional needs thrive both academically and socially.

The Role - Learning Support Assistant

As a Learning Support Assistant , you will:

• Provide one-to-one support for a Year 3 student with ASD , tailoring strategies to their needs.

• Work between the mainstream classroom and the ASD unit, ensuring smooth transitions.

• Assist the class teacher and SEN team in delivering personalised learning plans.

• Encourage independence and confidence, supporting the child's academic and social development.

• Monitor progress and provide regular feedback to staff and parents.

The School is Looking For:

• Experience supporting children with ASD or additional needs (school-based experience preferred).

• A patient, empathetic, and resilient individual.

• Someone able to adapt approaches to meet the needs of the child across different settings.

• A proactive team player who can collaborate with teachers, SEN staff, and families.
