Data Analytics Manager

an Analytics Manager for Reporting & Customer Insights to work as part of our data team,

reporting into the VP, Data.

Our central data team lives in our Tech org and reports to the VP of Data. In order to strengthen

our data maturity and become truly data driven we are committed to:

  • Empowering our circlers to become highly data fluent and confident self serve users

  • Enhancing our world class data platform

  • Creating data products across all domains

  • Transforming our business with ML & AI

The role

  • Provide strategic leadership for the analytics function, aligned with business objectives

and the overall data and technology strategy.

  • Champion best practices in data analysis, visualization, and storytelling within the team.

  • Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and consistency of all reported data, implementing robust

data validation and quality control processes.

  • Proactively identify areas for deep-dive analysis that can drive revenue growth, cost

efficiency, or improved customer experience with an emphasis on delivering analysis

  • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing team of data analysts, encouraging

continuous learning, professional development and fostering a culture of collaboration.

  • Oversee delivery of the team's roadmap and objectives, project prioritization, and

resource allocation to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of reporting and analytical

insights.

  • Oversee the management, maintenance, and optimization of our primary Business

  • Intelligence tool, Tableau, ensuring its stability, performance, and user adoption.

What we’re looking for

  • Experience in fostering "analytics excellence," including developing analytical methodologies, promoting data literacy, and ensuring high data quality and integrity.

  • Ideally you have a background in FinTech or similar industries.

  • A strong background in driving value with analysis – you understand how to move

beyond just reporting numbers to identifying strategic opportunities and solving

business problems through recommendations that are being derived through your

analysis (next best action, segmentation, customer / product behaviour analysis).

  • You have very good sql and analytical methodology skills and you enjoy delivering deep

dives as well. This role is still very hands on and for someone who wants to lead a small

team and have impact through practicing analytics excellence.

  • You act as a coach and mentor to the people inside and outside of your team,

continuously training your leadership muscle to be the best leader you can be.

  • You communicate clearly with proven ability to adapt your communication style to

different situations and stakeholders.

  • You love solving problems through data and to create new opportunities for internal and

external customers.

  • You have experience with setting up best practices for BI Tools such as Tableau, Power BI

  • or similar tools.
