We have a new opportunity for a Relationship Management Support to join us at Royal London Asset Management where you will provide high‑quality relationship management and sales support to Royal London Asset Management’s Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) clients, helping to strengthen retention and drive commercial growth.
Working closely with the Head of LGPS, you’ll support a defined portfolio of clients and prospects, ensuring exceptional service, proactive engagement, and the delivery of tailored solutions. You will help identify new business opportunities, maintain strong client awareness of RLAM’s propositions, and contribute to a trusted, long‑term partnership approach.
The role also includes supporting the wider sales function and participating in client meetings and events alongside senior Relationship Managers.
About the role
- Assist Head of LGPS and Relationship Management team members in achieving the RLAM Sales distribution target.
- Dealing with externalqueries from clients and develop productive relationships with key contacts
- Liaise with clients via email and telephone to obtain or provide information as needed.
- Building strong and effective relationships with Head of LGPS and Relationship Management team
- Develop an in-depth understanding of the wider business and RLAM capabilities. (Including Fixed Income, Equities, Multi Asset, Private Markets).
About you
- Experience, ideally with some experience of LGPS clients.
- Preferably IMC qualified or commitment to complete the IMC within 12 months of starting
- A proactive attitude with the ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability and desire to interact with clients and build strong relationships with new and existing contacts
- Someone who can demonstrate competence and professionalism when dealing with clients.
- Being a team player, sharing best practice and learnings with the wider team.
- Strong work ethic, taking responsibility and being accountable for the work they produce.
- Strong organisational skills, working to tight deadlines with a strong attention to detail
- Someone who is keen to improve skills and their ability to perform in the role.
