School Administrator - Greenwich
We are seeking an organised, professional, and proactive School Administrator to join a welcoming primary school in Greenwich, starting ASAP. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a busy school environment and supporting staff, pupils, and parents through effective administrative management.
The school values teamwork, clear communication, and efficiency, and the administrative team plays a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of daily school routines. You will work closely with the leadership team to provide essential office support and maintain an organised, professional, and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day school administrative tasks efficiently
Maintain accurate pupil records, including attendance, admissions, and contact information
Support the Headteacher and senior leadership team with administrative duties
Answer phone calls, emails, and general enquiries in a professional manner
Assist with school communications, letters, and newsletters
Organise meetings, appointments, and school events
Monitor office supplies and equipment
Work collaboratively with teaching and support staff
Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and school policies at all times
Promote a positive and professional school environment
The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will:
Have previous experience in school administration or office management
Be highly organised, efficient, and proactive
Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Be IT literate and confident using office software and school management systems
Be able to work independently and as part of a team
Be committed to supporting a safe and positive learning environment
