With a strong reputation for creativity, pastoral care and academic excellence, this welcoming school offers the ideal setting for graduates to gain practical experience in education while supporting children’s early learning and development.

The Early Years team here is passionate about helping children build curiosity, confidence and independence through purposeful play and exploration. You’ll work alongside experienced educators who will guide and mentor you as you develop your classroom skills and understanding of child development.

Who We’re Looking For

  • A genuine enthusiasm for working with young children and supporting their growth
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to form strong, nurturing relationships
  • A patient, positive and proactive attitude
  • A long-term interest in pursuing teacher training or an Early Years specialism
  • Some previous experience working or volunteering with children (desirable but not essential)

Key Responsibilities

As a Graduate Early Years Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support the learning and development of Nursery and Reception children
  • Deliver focused support in phonics, early writing and numeracy, both 1:1 and in small groups
  • Help children develop social, emotional and communication skills
  • Prepare creative learning materials and assist with engaging, play-based lessons
  • Contribute to a calm, well-organised and stimulating classroom environment
  • Work closely with teachers and the Early Years lead to provide excellent care and learning opportunities

Why Join This School?

  • Supportive, experienced staff committed to developing future teachers
  • Outstanding mentoring and professional development opportunities
  • A diverse and inclusive school community with strong parental support
  • Excellent EYFS provision focused on creativity, wellbeing and early literacy
  • A clear pathway into teacher training from September 2026

This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic school that values both academic and emotional development. You’ll play a meaningful part in helping children take their first confident steps into education while building the skills for your own teaching career.
