The Role
• Assist with the opening and closing of the school premises.
• Carry out general maintenance, repairs, and basic DIY tasks.
• Conduct regular site checks, ensuring all areas are safe and hazard-free.
• Support with security, including alarm systems and access control.
• Oversee contractors and deliveries.
• Maintain cleanliness of outdoor areas and ensure facilities are ready for daily use.
Requirements
• Previous caretaking, facilities, or maintenance experience.
• Good practical skills and the ability to carry out basic repairs.
• Strong reliability, initiative, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of health & safety and safeguarding procedures.
