Commercial Finance Analyst

Virgin
London

Ready to turn numbers into real commercial impact? We’re looking for a recently qualified Commercial Finance Analyst. This is a hands-on role where your analysis, modelling and insight will directly influence decisions across the business.

If you’ve stepped out of practice and into a commercial finance role – and you’re keen to get closer to strategy, performance and business partnering – this could be your next move.

Our Virgin Family

Join the Virgin Group – a diverse collective driving change, enhancing customer experience, and having a blast. We're daring, disrupting industries from finance to space, united as part of the Virgin Family.

Virgin Red rewards customers who live the Virgin lifestyle. Earn Virgin Points across our vast partner network, unlocking everyday rewards and exclusive experiences. As the Virgin network hub, we foster deeper customer understanding, opening doors for partners. Bold, distinctive, customer-centric – that's Virgin Red.

We’re a huge brand, but not a huge team, which means we take a hands-on approach while thinking strategically. Everyone rolls up their sleeves to get things done, making it an exciting and collaborative place to work.

Tell me more

You’ll be right at the heart of our commercial finance team, helping us understand performance, shape decisions and drive profitable growth.

  • Analyse and report on financial, business and membership performance, including key performance indicators.
  • Build detailed commercial models for new initiatives and partnerships.
  • Prepare business cases and ‘deal sheets’ to support new opportunities.
  • Partner with teams across the business to challenge performance and identify risks and opportunities.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting and long-term planning.
  • Create clear presentations for senior stakeholders.
  • Get involved in ad hoc strategic projects that shape the future of Virgin Red.

What you’ll need

  • A recognised accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) is fundamental, with at least 1 year post-qualification experience preferred.
  • Experience working in a commercial finance function would be a plus.
  • Strong financial modelling skills, including building business cases and commercial models.
  • Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with data.
  • The ability to translate complex analysis into clear, simple insights for non-finance teams.
  • Confidence working with senior stakeholders and challenging constructively.

You don’t need to have worked in loyalty before. Commercial instinct and curiosity matter more.
