External Sales Representative

What you would do as our Business Development Manager
As the Business Development Manager UK within the Global Solutions division of ASSA ABLOY you drive sales within new and existing customer accounts with a focus of the Self-Storage sector by managing relationships and delivering value propositions. Reporting to Business Development Director - Europe & UK you will be responsible for managing top line growth of the business.
You would also be responsible for:
Prospecting for new sales opportunities travelling between EMEA and UK.
Setting account and territory plans to exceed sales quota on an annual/quarterly/monthly basis within preset margin expectations recording sales activities in Salesforce and producing territory reports.
Maintaining high post-sales satisfaction facilitating positive long-term relationships and high potential for repeat business with customers.
Networking with industry influencers professional associations and a variety of partners to build and farm relationships.
Maintaining an understanding of trends/issues and product development within the self-storage industry.
The skills and experience you need
We are looking for someone who has:
Strong commercial mindset with proven negotiation skills leadgeneration capability and a consistent track record of meeting or exceeding quotas.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities able to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Highly organized proactive and solutionoriented demonstrating strong problemsolving skills and a determined cando attitude.
Technically inclined with engineering understanding as an advantage along with familiarity with Salesforce CRM and (ideally) experience in the selfstorage industry.
Multilingual abilities are considered a valuable asset in supporting diverse customer and market needs.
