A 2-form entry primary school in Southall is seeking a dedicated Year 1 Teacher to join their team from September 2026 for the full academic year.

The Role
As the successful Year 1 Teacher, you will:
- Take responsibility for a Year 1 class from September 2026
- Deliver engaging and creative lessons aligned with the National Curriculum
- Support pupils as they transition from the EYFS framework into Key Stage 1
- Deliver high-quality phonics teaching and early literacy development
- Differentiate learning effectively to meet the needs of all learners
- Work collaboratively with the parallel Year 1 teacher and wider KS1 team
- Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress
- Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
The school is seeking a teacher who understands the importance of strong foundations in Year 1 and can help pupils develop confidence, independence, and a love of learning.
The Ideal Candidate
The successful applicant will:
- Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Have experience teaching within KS1 or strong KS1 teaching placements
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of phonics and early reading development
- Be an organised and reflective practitioner
- Have high expectations for behaviour and achievement
- Be committed to supporting all pupils to reach their potential
- Enjoy working collaboratively as part of a team
