Pottery Technician

Job Overview
- Freelance role 4-16 hours per week —Fri/Sat/Sun/Mon (days are flexible)
Tasks include:
- General studio cleaning: wiping surfaces, washing aprons, mopping, hoovering, clearing out the sink trap
- Recycling clay using a pugmill
- Applying glaze to pieces
- Scratching names on bottom of pieces
- Arranging pieces in correct containers and labelling them
- Carry clay bags upstairs and prep them into balls for the lessons
- Loading and unloading kilns, operating them safely
- Some class assistance occasionally (refilling water, cleaning wheels, emptying bins etc)
You will be working with a really friendly team.
