Log my Care is one of the fastest-growing Care Software start-ups in the UK, having quadrupled its customer base since 2020. Our mission is to digitise the social care sector (care homes and home care agencies) and help hundreds of thousands of carers to provide a better quality of care to the UK’s most vulnerable people. The sector is over 60% analogue and paper-based, losing out on the many benefits technology can bring. We’re passionate about changing this with our awesome mobile App and Web-based tools that make delivering care far, far easier for hard-working carers.

The role

We’re looking for a pragmatic and user-focused Product Engineers

1 x FS (Front End focused)
1 x FS (Balanced)
1 x AI Products

You'll to help us design, build, and maintain systems that deliver meaningful impact for care teams across the UK. You’ll take ownership of complex features, mentor others, and help shape how we build high-quality, scalable, and user-centric products.

You’ll join a cross-functional product squad and work closely with other engineers, product designers, and a product manager to solve real user problems with empathy and clarity. You’ll be expected to use your experience and expertise to raise the bar for delivery, support others through thoughtful feedback and guidance, and take a proactive role in shaping how we work as a team.

This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys balancing technical depth with real-world impact and wants to grow in a fast-moving, mission-driven environment.

💰 Salary Range : £55K - £70K

🏢 Location: This role is based in London. Our mandatory in-office days are Wednesdays & Fridays.

As a Product Engineer, you will:
  • Work autonomously: Deliver complex features & projects with minimal oversight.
  • Embody user centricity: Understand real-world user workflows and advocate for user needs in technical discussions, partnering with Product and Design to deliver impactful solutions.
  • Architect for scale: Architect significant features and services, making design trade-offs that support scalability, performance, and long-term maintainability.
  • Champion a quality mindset: Own quality end-to-end within your projects, from clarifying requirements, to writing robust tests and shipping secure, reliable and maintainable code, setting shared standards across the team.
  • Solve challenging problems: Proactively identify root causes, implement durable solutions, and share learnings that help others solve problems more effectively.
  • Be data- driven: Use product metrics and observability tools to guide decisions during discovery and development, and deliver work that demonstrably improves product or business metrics.
  • Deliver at pace: Improve team velocity by unblocking others, streamlining workflows, and making pragmatic but responsible choices around trade-offs.
  • Own operational rollout : Ensure features get shipped to and work reliably in production.
  • Drive continuous improvement : Encourage experimentation and continuous improvement by sharing knowledge, mentoring others and contributing to team practices.
This will be a great opportunity for you if you want to:
  • Have 3+ years of hands-on engineering experience, including end-to-end feature delivery in a production environment.
  • Have strong front-end experience with React, React Native and TypeScript and/or node / express.
  • Have experience working in a product-led squad, collaborating closely with PMs and designers to ship impactful features.
  • Enjoy leading by example and helping the team build high-quality, maintainable systems.
  • Thrive in an environment that values user impact and a culture of continuous learning.
  • Care deeply about solving meaningful problems for frontline care teams.
Bonus points for having:
  • Experience working in regulated environments like health or social care.
  • A background in scale-ups, SaaS or B2B product development.

  4. In-person Interview with Mikael , Tech Lead + Hiring Manager + Will , Product Manager (60 mins)
  5. Final interview with Sam (Co-founder & CEO) + Adam (Co-founder & CTO) via video chat to discuss what you might bring to the role and how you might embody our values at LmC (30 minutes).
