Social Media Lead
Soho, London
Hybrid working: 2 days per week in the office (rota includes working evenings and weekends to attend matches, events, shoots, sponsor activations and key sporting moments where required to support content creation and social coverage.)
The Role
As our Social Media Lead, you'll orchestrate our social content strategy across LiveScore Media and LiveScore Bet, shaping platform-native content for our massive 15M+ community. This role demands a video-first visionary who can blend data insights with creative flair to drive engagement and amplify our brand presence. You'll lead and develop a talented team, navigating the fast-paced world of sports and social trends to meet ambitious audience and commercial objectives.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the daily social media content function across LiveScore Media and LiveScore Bet, ensuring high-quality, engaging output.
- Own and evolve the social media content strategy, aligning channel plans with wider business priorities and commercial opportunities.
- Manage and develop the social media content team, fostering consistent high performance and growth.
- Drive the team’s video-first evolution, developing formats and creative approaches to increase reach and engagement.
- Lead content planning around major football moments, breaking news, and brand campaigns, blending reactive agility with strategic foresight.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams (Commercial, Brand, Sponsorship) to maximise content value and unlock commercial benefits.
- Utilise social analytics and platform insights to assess content effectiveness and inform future optimisation strategies.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
- Proven experience leading social media content in a fast-paced sports, media, or entertainment environment.
- Deep understanding of how to grow and manage large social communities across key platforms (e.g., TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, X).
- Strong knowledge of football, fan culture, social trends, and platform-native storytelling.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver innovative social-first and video-first content strategies.
- Proficiency in social media analytics, platform data, and performance tools to drive informed decisions.
- Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to motivate, guide, and develop a high-performing social media content team.
- Highly organised and commercially aware, capable of managing competing priorities and supporting wider business objectives.
