Nanny
The ideal candidate will have strong, relevant experience caring for both babies and toddlers and will be highly organised, calm and engaging. The family are looking for someone fun and energetic, but who also fully understands that safety is always paramount and someone who is able to help with establishing and maintaining routines and good habits, someone who is able to be both caring and gently firm, encouraging independence while offering reassurance and support.
This role would suit a nanny who enjoys wholesome living and brings a positive, supportive approach to their work. Someone who can maintain clear, consistent routines while also planning creative, stimulating and age-appropriate activities that both children can enjoy. The nanny should be confident adapting activities to suit each child individually, while also encouraging shared play and interaction where appropriate.
A genuine interest in early childhood development is essential. The nanny should be observant and proactive in supporting the children as they reach key developmental milestones and be confident communicating updates, observations and progress back to the parents, working in partnership to ensure the very best outcomes for both children.
The family would love someone who enjoys being outdoors, attending local classes and playgroups, and organising engaging days filled with learning through play, exploration and everyday experiences. Imaginative play, creative activities, reading, music and movement are all encouraged.
The nanny should be confident preparing a wide variety of fresh, healthy meals and introducing varied flavours and textures.
The mother mainly works from home on Fridays and the nanny will be able to leave earlier depending on mum’s workload. The family value open communication and are keen to build a genuinely collaborative working relationship, where the nanny feels trusted, supported and encouraged to share ideas. The family very much see this as a partnership and will truly value the nanny’s experience, insight and contribution to family life.
While the children are resting or occupied, the nanny will be responsible for child-related housekeeping duties, keeping play areas organised, managing the children’s wardrobes and laundry, and ensuring their spaces are tidy and well cared for.
