Supplier Success Specialist (6-month FTC)

Nomia acts as an extension of our customer’s procurement team by aggregating and executing the end-to-end sourcing, supplier onboarding and contracting process for indirect categories of spend. We are a global team, with Procurement Hubs in Singapore, Dubai, London & Chicago.
The Team
The procurement team are fundamental to our company, by combining the rich experience of our people with the innovative use of our technology, Nomia brings a unique and disruptive procurement solution to our customers to better-manage their tail spend.
Procurement is responsible for the end-to-end sourcing and procurement activities for customer tail spend projects. We are trusted by our customers to maximise the value of their investment and provide an excellent customer experience.
The team is focused on developing strong global category strategy, regional supplier relationships, and speed of project execution through a global purchasing team. Our talented and high-performing global team works with customers across Europe, Middle East, North America, and Asia.
About You
Nomia is looking for a motivated and relationship-driven individual to join our team. This person will be instrumental in cultivating and nurturing strong, productive relationships with Nomia’s valued suppliers, and will therefore be a self-starter who is looking to be part of an exciting journey within a procure-tech company.
We are looking for our Supplier Success Specialist to be spending some of their time face-to-face with our teams and our suppliers, this person should therefore be a commutable distance to a Nomia office, and be able to travel to other Nomia offices if required, with limited travel anticipated, primarily within region .
Key Responsibilities
As a Supplier Success Specialist, you will:
Define and implement a supplier success strategy, by working closely with the Category Team Director, to ensures Nomia’s supplier are set up for success, optimise their performance, and foster a collaborative environment that benefits both parties to drive Nomia’s business objectives forward.
Supplier Relationship Management (SRM):
Act as the primary point of contact for a segment of key suppliers, building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships.
Proactively engage with suppliers to align on business needs, challenges, and opportunities.
Facilitate regular business reviews with suppliers to discuss performance, areas of improvement, and alignment on joint goals.
Foster a collaborative environment that encourages communication, trust, and mutual respect.
Continuously work to improve quote and/or contracting cycle times with suppliers.
Supplier Onboarding:
Lead the onboarding process for new suppliers, ensuring a smooth and efficient integration into Nomia’s platform and processes.
If required, provide training, resources, and ongoing support to suppliers to help them understand our requirements, policies, and best practices when working with Nomia and Nomia’s customers.
Supplier Performance Management and Optimisation:
Monitor supplier performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs).
Analyse supplier data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
Collaborate with suppliers to develop and implement action plans to address performance gaps and enhance efficiency.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives with suppliers to optimize quality, cost, delivery, and overall value.
Issue Resolution and Risk Mitigation:
Serve as an escalation point for supplier-related issues, working collaboratively with internal teams and suppliers to achieve timely and effective resolutions for Nomia and/or Nomia’s customers.
Proactively identify and assess potential risks within the supply base and develop mitigation strategies.
Work with Nomia’s Procurement Governance & Compliance Manager to drive supplier compliance with contractual obligations, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Partner closely with internal stakeholders (e.g., Category Team, Regional Procurement Teams, Global Purchasing Team, Finance, & Legal) to ensure seamless supplier management and alignment with Nomia’s business objectives.
Share supplier insights and feedback with relevant internal teams to inform strategic decision-making (global and regional).
Champion the supplier experience internally and advocate for supplier needs when appropriate.
Influence Nomia’s product roadmap, by providing innovation recommendation, expertise, and insights.
Qualifications/Skills
2+ years of experience working in a sourcing & Procurement role.
A strong understanding of sourcing and procurement, S2P workflows and processes, and technologies.
Proven experience in supplier relationship management, account management, vendor management, or a similar role within a procurement function.
Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and data-driven decision-making.
Strong understanding of procurement processes, contract management, and performance metrics (KPIs/SLAs).
Experience working with procurement SaaS is advantageous.
Effective, empathetic verbal and written communication with all levels of seniority

This is a hybrid role, with three office days per week required, potentially more during training or as requested by your supervisor.
Contribute to continuous improvement in systems and processes.
