We’re searching for passionate and curious Graduate Software Engineers to join our growing team. This isn't your average graduate role; you'll get hands-on experience working on real-world problems from day one. You’ll learn and grow on the job, building new features from scratch, and helping us deliver amazing outcomes for our global clients. What You’ll Do- Build & Innovate: Contribute to our award-winning platform and internal tools. You'll build new features and products in a configurable way, helping to change banking for good.

Requirements What We’re Looking For
You don’t need to have a Computer Science degree to be a great engineer here. We believe in a broad ability to apply yourself and value a genuine interest in software engineering.- A recent university graduate or on track to graduate in summer 2026.
- The ability to demonstrate that you can write quality code.
- Proven experience working in a team.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude.
- Someone who is open to and values feedback to improve.
- Eligible to work in the UK and ready to start a full-time position in September 2026.
Our Tech
Our entire banking platform was built in-house, primarily using Java. As an engineer at Engine, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of modern languages and tools, including:- Languages: Java, JS/TS, Swift, Kotlin
- Tools: Docker, Kubernetes, TeamCity, and Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Interview Journey
Our interviews are a two-way conversation - it's as much about you getting to know us as it is about us getting to know you. We want you to be curious and ask questions!- Step 1: One-way Video Screen: We'll send you a few questions to record your responses.
- Step 2: Take-home Tech Test: If you're a good fit, you’ll receive a tech test that you can solve in any language you are comfortable with.
- Step 3: Technical Video Interview: A 1.5-hour video interview where we’ll talk through your tech test.
- Step 4: Final Interview: A final video interview with a couple of our senior members from Engineering.
