The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day running of the school office while providing a warm and professional first point of contact for pupils, parents, staff and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
Providing administrative support to staff, parents and visitors.
Maintaining accurate records, systems and databases.
Managing communications with parents, staff and external agencies.
Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the school office.
Using a range of IT systems confidently and accurately.
Ensuring confidentiality, professionalism and excellent customer service at all times.
Supporting safeguarding procedures and promoting pupil welfare.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Excellent organisational and communication skills.
A friendly, approachable and professional manner.
Strong IT skills and attention to detail.
The ability to prioritise tasks and work effectively under pressure.
A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
Previous school office experience is desirable but not essential.
A strong commitment to safeguarding and child welfare.

Role Details
Position: School Office Administrator
Location: Waltham Forest
Hours: 35 hours per week, term time plus inset days
Contract: Permanent
Working Hours: 8:00am – 4:00pm
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
