Nanny-Personal Assistant
Seeking a wonderful Nanny/PA for a busy family living in Kensington. The successful candidate will care for two children aged 5-years and 8-years, as well as support Mum with her business. The usual schedule will be Monday through Friday, 11am-8pm, although a little flexibility around this would be appreciated depending on the family's plans. This is a permanent, long-term, live-out position. Responsibilities
The girls are fairly independent and are in school during term-time. The role will therefore encompass general support and care for the children, and organisational and admin duties for the family: Teaching and practising mandarin with the girls on a day-to-day basis
Organising activities and playdates
School drop offs and pick ups
Ensuring children's areas and items are clean, tidy and organised
Staying on top of schedules, making sure the right items are packed in the right bags, and that things are prepared for the day ahead
Supporting the children with their continued academic development, ensuring homework is completed and finding ways to engage and extend, where appropriate
Some general tutoring and academic support
Continuing to foster the children's curiosity and enjoyment in the world around them
Family assistant-style duties - liaising with schools, gift buying, organising parties, scheduling activities, appointments, wardrobe management etc
Supporting Mum with household/business admin when required
Occasional proxy-parenting or weekend hours to cover for when the parents travel
Requirements
Discreet and professional but with a friendly, positive and calm approach
Excellent organisation and time-management skills
Warm, loving, brilliant with children, but able to effectively maintain gentle boundaries
Comfortable modelling appropriate behaviour while encouraging general etiquette and good manners
Pitch-in approach to family support
Full of initiative and able to stay a few steps ahead
Safe and confident driver
Consistent, and level-headed, with longevity in previous roles and excellent references
Confident swimmer preferably, although this isn't essential
Dog-friendly, as the family may be welcoming one in the future
Salary and Benefits
From £55,000 gross pa, DOE
