A lovely, easy-going family based in Wimbledon are seeking a kind, caring and professional nanny to care for their baby, who will be 11 months old at the start of the role.
The family describe themselves as sociable, relaxed and enjoying travel, and they are looking for a nanny who will fit naturally into their dynamic—someone who is confident, collaborative and enjoys working as part of a team with parents. There may be opportunities to travel with the family once or twice a year, so a nanny who is open to this would be a wonderful bonus.
This is a sole-charge role during working hours, with a focus on providing attentive, nurturing care while supporting the child’s development through play, routine and exploration.
The Role
The nanny will provide engaging, age-appropriate care, supporting the baby’s continued development in a warm and stimulating environment. The family would love a nanny who is active and enjoys getting out and about—attending local activities, visiting parks, and arranging playdates—alongside creating fun and enriching experiences at home.
Activities may include:
Reading and storytelling
Arts and crafts
Sensory and creative play
Outdoor play and garden activities
Early role play and imaginative games
The baby is described as easy-going, a good sleeper, and enjoying weaning.
Working Hours
Monday to Friday
3 longer days: 7:00am – 6:00pm (when Mum is at work)
2 shorter days: approximately 8:00am – 4:00/5:00pm (when Mum is working from home)
On shorter days, there will be a mix of childcare and nursery duties, including batch cooking and maintaining the child’s environment.
Duties Include:
Sole charge care of the baby
Planning and engaging in age-appropriate activities
Supporting developmental milestones
Preparing healthy, nutritious meals (including batch cooking)
Maintaining a consistent routine
Nursery duties (child’s laundry, tidying play areas, organising toys)
Supporting social development through outings and playdates

Competitive salary offered, dependent on experience but salary guide £21-£22 gross per hour circa £53.5-£56k gross per annum
